“Lunch time is my happiest hour of the day. Delegates don’t agree in meeting rooms but reach consensuses over lunch and coffee breaks where sometimes real discussions and decisions are made. If I leave the UN one day, I will sadly miss lunches on a table with colleagues from all continents and countries, speaking all languages, learning different cultures and discussing work and non-work related stuff. Friendships made over lunches will hopefully last forever.”
